"I Have Made The Lord My Refuge"
(Psalm 73)

Psalm 73 begins with a confession most of us feel but rarely say out loud: it is easy to look at people who want nothing to do with God and envy how well their lives seem to go. The psalmist almost stumbles over it, until he comes into the presence of God and sees where that road finally ends. From there everything shifts. He trades envy for contentment, resting in the God who holds his right hand and remains the strength of his heart. This message follows that turn and leaves you with a place to stand: there is nothing on earth worth wanting more than God Himself, and in Him we make the Lord our refuge.
